Three Word Wednesday 081909
Graceful Riot of Decay
The gray sky cheers me
as I walk through fallen leaves.
Transition to dormancy
amid the season of wait.
Even my breath mists
like small clouds rushing past me.
I look to the gray above
and find the graceful riot suspended above.
Colors true
and fragile as they fall.

"the season of wait"
I really like that.
Autumn leaves always evoke a sense of sadness combined with hope.
I also like "the season of wait". Beautiful!
Artfully done. All the lines mess so well together. This is just a lovely read.
