And He answered and said unto them, "I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out."

Sunday Scribblings # 250

I
Need, just like you.
Vents in the sidewalk are warm;
I
Sit on them and cover myself and my vent with a blanket.
I
Blend in the shadows and greys of the
Large walls, the freshly washed windows and the wide alleys.
Every day I see you walk by. Do you see me?

We could do with cold vents in Australia. Seriously though the answer is yes, from all us writers who must observe everything. There might be a story or poem in it.

Luckily he was looking the other way otherwise he might have scowled at you and shaken his paper cup at you for your small change.

Yes. I used a cardboard blanket before.

Wonderful piece. All too often these people are invisible to the passerby. All too often we forget how close we may be to this life of needing a hand up.

The vents here in Chicago are from the subway and they are relatively warm, compared to the below freezing temps in the city streets.

Chris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was so excited to get your comment. I thought perhaps you had dropped off the face of the earth! Hope all is well with you--I see you have a new blog here and it looks extremely well done. Going to look around as time permits. I see you are really pursuing your writing. Good for you.

I've just gone back to some of my projects after a long period of no motivation to write whatsoever. Waiting to see how the Lord leads as my home business is pretty stagnant and would like to give it a boost.

Thanks for thinking of me, Chris. Remember: You helped me get started with blogging and I'll always appreciate and remember you for that!
