Methodical and precise, he paints a portrait for a client. In trying to mix the colors for the eyes, he discovers a very different talent that will change the course of his life.<br /><br />I had heard of Modesitt but had never read any of his books. I took a chance at the library and decided to give this book a try. It was well worth the effort.
